Good good good weekend.

This weekend, a good friend of mine and my roommate's came to visit us! Her name is Sally and she goes to Tennessee Tech. She told us that UT seems like a "real college" compared to hers, because TTU is so small. I'm so glad she got to visit, because we hardly get to talk since we went off to grown-up land in college. On Friday we were all pretty lazy because we were tired, so we watched movies and talked and laughed (with Rebecca Mullen visiting, of course!) Then Saturday we went and showed her around Knoxville! We were going to actually go to the Sunsphere because I've wanted to go there for awhile, but it was kind of icky and cloudy on Saturday, so we ended up at the mall, like typical girls. She was amazed at West Town mall, because we're used to nasty Rivergate mall back home (if you've ever been there, you would understand...) so she wanted to stay there forever, although we couldn't do that, obviously.  We then went to Target and then back to campus to watch more movies.
Sally and Ivy with me ruining pictures as always :)

Later that night, we walked through the scary Fort up to our friends' apartment to hang out.  Our friends Shyanne and Chase were also visiting this weekend, so we wanted to see them. We all hung out and played cards and Apples to Apples (which is the best game ever invented, by the way). When we realized how late it was getting, our friend Walt drove us back to South Carrick so we didn't end up being in one of those dreaded emails about the Fort robberies and all that. Sally and I couldn't sleep so we ended up talking until about 7 am in iHop when she left to go back to good ole Cookeville. I then proceeded to sleep until 3 in the afternoon, like a champ. I have since been procrastinating studying for an accounting exam tomorrow, which I will probably regret...ah well. I guess it must be time to study!
